The Shining Shepherdess - Jin Yi, was born in Tongliao - Inner Mongolia, graduate of the Visual Communication Design program at Jimei University in Xiamen, and now a dedicated full-time artist channeling creativity into transformative works.
She is the founder of the Xiamen Mineral Pigment Painting Research & Innovation Institute (廈門岩彩研創中心), a hub for innovative mineral pigment artistry and collaborative experimentation, she blend traditional techniques with modern expression to explore themes of light, healing, and resilience.

The series "Children's Play" draws inspiration from the windswept prairies of 1990s Inner Mongolia, where my own youth unfolded alongside a cherished ritual of camaraderie: the game of "Sheep Knuckles" (羊拐). This humble bone—a centerpiece of play—reveals four distinct faces: the Real Heart, the Donkey Heart, the Pit Heart, and the Back Heart.
